3. Other technical resources (not cookies, but they do involve a connection to third parties)
To function, the site loads content from external servers:
- The site’s typefaces, from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com).
- The map tile images for the interactive archaeological map, from CARTO, only on pages that include a map.
These connections do not leave cookies in your browser, but they do mean your IP address reaches those providers when the page loads, just as it would when visiting any site that includes an external font or map.
